We went to Cortino's based on a friend's recommendation. It was the best Italian food my family has ever had. The food was amazing, the service was great and friendly, and the price was fair. I didn't take photos of our food but I'm a lifelong customer. Olive Garden has been crap for a long time. This food is authentic and made with high quality ingredients. It didn't make my stomach sick at all and that is hard to find these days with so much processed junk in our foods. My family can't wait to go back. Did I mention how awesome the dessert was?

The desserts here are an absolute must! I’ve visited several times to enjoy the cozy dine-in atmosphere, and most recently came with a large group. I was thrilled to see that the service was just as wonderful; friendly, attentive, and consistent no matter the party size. A true gem in Mercedes, TX!

This has been one of our favorites for years (10+!). Best Caesar salad, veal Marsala, anything Alfredo! Love their Marinara too! Shrimp and chicken. I have often gotten the grilled chicken Caesar salad. Enjoy their wines and desserts, especially the Italian wedding cake. It’s a family operation and not too big so make reservations for dinner.

The food portions are large, I recommend sharing everything so y'all can enjoy the dessert. The service was attentive and nice. The place is a bit on the smaller side, but you still have plenty of room at your table (you will be a bit close to other tables). I tried to eat everything on my plate but failed. If my friends from out of state visit I plan on bringing them.

I’ve lived in Weslaco most of my life and had never been here until my wife wanted to go. Paul our waiter was amazing. When it was time for dessert they were out of carrot cake, I said thanks anyways and thought they was it. Shortly after Paul came with the last piece of carrot cake. It was very thoughtful and appreciated! Food was great, will definitely come again!
